Alex Webb
美國攝影師 Alex Webb 以活潑豐富、多層次光影與複雜構圖的彩色攝影聞名，他總是能在社會政治緊張的地方，捕捉另人玩味的瞬間。
1952 年出生於舊金山， Alex Webb 高中時對攝影產生興趣，大學期間於哈佛大學主修歷史與文學，並在校區內的卡本特視覺藝術中心修習攝影。畢業後 Alex Webb 成為一位攝影記者，22 歲時受到馬格蘭攝影通訊社提名，專業攝影記者生涯從此展開；同時，他也開始為《紐約時報雜誌》、《Geo》、《Life》、《國家地理》等雜誌拍攝照片。1979 年，Alex Webb 成為馬格蘭通訊社的正式成員，並從黑白攝影轉向彩色攝影。
Alex Webb 的作品總是以複雜且具有深度著稱，其攝影題材類型多元，包含街頭攝影、新聞攝影與藝術創作，雖然涉及內容廣泛，但對攝影師而言，無論其分類或形式，它們都是很單純的一件事：攝影。「你必須走出去，並使用相機來探索這個世界。」
