石内都

石內都 (1947~) 出生在日本群馬縣,雖然生於二戰結束後,但她並未因此與戰爭全然無涉,反而從小就懂得循既存的蛛絲馬跡逆推事件;當這項能力結合影像媒介,按快門遂成為間接地接收他人記憶的行為。大學時代參與社運倡議大學改革、抵抗美國勢力,亦抗議社會疏於支持女性,也未給予女性應得的肯定與地位;1976 年發起《百花繚亂》,集結十位年輕女性攝影師共同展出,而展覽的重要意義也一如其動機,果然時隔多年後才終於獲得關注,如今也已被視為日本女權運動史上不可或缺的一幕。 28 歲時自大學退學,用母親婚前舊名「石內都」投入攝影,1979 年憑《APARTMENT》及展覽《Apaato》獲木村伊兵衛獎而嶄露頭角,同年也參與了紐約國際攝影中心聯展《Japan: A Self-Portrait》,從此成為世界各地的展覽常客。石內都的視野富含陰性特質,常聚焦在肉眼不可見之處,以橫須賀街頭隱晦的氣息與味道,連同身體、 Llegir més...
