Masao Yamamoto
藝術家、攝影師山本昌男 (Yamamoto Masao) 1957 年生於日本愛知縣蒲郡市，最初在藝術家斎藤吾郎的指導下學習油畫，立志成為一名油畫家，爾後轉向攝影，成為一位自由攝影師。他的創作拾掇著熟悉的動植物、風景等一切有關家鄉的點滴，詩意且富有東方精神性，也帶有明顯的繪畫質地。
山本昌男善於捕捉人與自然之間的聯繫及萬物之靜謐，凝結宇宙中一切象徵性的本質，平穩寂然地描繪出極具禪意的輪廓，更透過將實體照片染色、浸泡於茶水中等方式加工後，形成如畫般的影像意境，模糊了攝影與繪畫的邊界，構築出內斂幽眇的永恆。
