Michael Kenna
英國風景攝影師 Michael Kenna 1953 年出生於英國工業小鎮威德尼斯，以黑白自然風景攝影聞名，其極簡的構圖與對比分明的元素，讓他的作品於純粹的形式中蔓生平靜與詩意。
Kenna 從小在傳統愛爾蘭天主教家庭中長大，性格獨立且熱愛冒險，喜歡一個人到公園、小徑、車站、無人教堂及墓園冒險，成為他從事無人風景攝影的開端。他在 11 歲時第一次接觸黑白攝影，以一台作為聖誕節禮物的黛安娜相機開啟了攝影之路。由於對攝影藝術的熱愛，他就讀 Banbury School of Art 及 London College of Printing 學習攝影及平面設計。1977 年他搬到美國舊金山，並擔任攝影家 Ruth Bernhard 的放像師（printer）長達八年，從中精進了攝影技術，同時發展個人創作。
