Paul Graham
英國當代攝影師Paul Graham以其彩色作品，精闢地探索日常當中不經意浮現的插曲，凸顯一些異於常態、卻受忽視的現實，而往往迴響著寧靜的詩意，在傳統的攝影流派間另闢獨特的視覺語言。
1956年出生，成長於白金漢郡的農村，而後舉家搬遷到埃塞克斯郡的哈洛新城。最初大學學習微生物學，在圖書館的社會人類學分類裡，發現了Walker Evans、Robert Frank、Edward Weston和Paul Strand的作品。「突然間，就像一盞燈亮了，當你發覺原來可以用攝影來表達一些東西。我馬上就拍攝了作品，雖然尚無法完全向別人表達。」
對於攝影，Graham自學成才。他在70年代開始紀實攝影創作——彼時，英國的紀實攝影依然停留在黑白攝影的主流思潮，但Graham將美國彩色攝影先驅William Eggleston、Stephen Shore作為學習對象，同時也透過Robert Adams和Le Llegir més...
