‘Love Shit’ is about self-determination. Through both documentary photography and text, artist Verena Blok constructs a series of intimate portraits of pregnant individuals. Photographed over a period of two years, these portraits are combined with stories gathered during her work at an abortion clinic in the Netherlands.
