Sandy Skoglund is an American artist, photographer and installation artist living and working in New York City. An undisputed pioneer of Staged Photography, she began creating her art in the late 1970s and continues to this day. Her photographic representations depict wondrous and uncanny world in which enchantment and disquiet, everydayness and fairy-tale aspects coexist harmoniously.
