“Schultenhoefe” are a medieval form of vernacular architecture in Westphalia: estates of wealthy farmers collecting in-kind duties and taxes from share croppers for the local lord of the manor. With his camera Martin Rosswog explores the history of these estates, their buildings, furniture, and heritage.
