This is a collotype portfolio set of six pieces selected from Toshiya Watanabe’s “Somewhere not Here” series.
Using an infrared filter, the images turn leaves white and the sky black, capturing real landscapes such as flowers, birds, and bridges, yet exuding a dreamlike quality, creating fantastical images that seem to lead viewers into the depths of the artist’s imaginary consciousness.
