Spanning 150 pages, this photography book curates fragments of images captured by Luc in Taiwan, New York, and Paris since 2020. The title, “Pirouette“, draws from the ballet term for ”spin,“ yet its heart lies not in grand choreography, but in the pivoting of perspective.

Luc deconstructs the seemingly mundane scenes of daily life. Through the interplay of shutter and lens, he executes a series of ”mental leaps“ within the viewfinder. Familiar streets rearrange themselves in a single turn, opening up new cognitive pathways for the viewer. This is more than a collection of snapshots; it is an experiment in visual restructuring, allowing ordinary landscapes to burst into heterogeneous realms of imagination at the very moment of rotation.
