As Seen By

‘As Seen By’ is a series of photobooks developed through a collaboration between Belmond and the Paris-based publisher RVB. Drawing on Belmond’s portfolio of historic properties and geographically diverse destinations, the project invites contemporary photographers to engage with specific locations around the world—from Brazil to South Africa to the Caribbean.

Each commission pairs an artist with a particular hotel, resulting in a body of work shaped by both place and perspective. Printed in Venice and bound in cloth covers that reflect the visual identity of each destination, the series unfolds as an ongoing publishing project.
