Nan Goldin
美國攝影家 Nan Goldin 於 1953 年出生於華盛頓，成長於中產階級的猶太家庭。15 歲開始接觸攝影， 面對姐姐過世的傷痛，她透過攝影來追憶及自我療傷。她的作品經常與 LGBT 族群、愛滋病、毒品與親密關係相關，從中挖掘私密的情感。1973 年 Goldin 舉辦首次個展，聚焦同性戀及跨性別族群的生活。
Nan Goldin 生涯最重要的作品是 1986 年的《The Ballad of Sexual Dependency（性依賴的敘事曲）》，記錄了各種生活場景，將同性、異性戀情侶的互動中極為私人的場景公開展示。如同自傳式的影像日記一般，不刻意創造任何戲劇張力，也不屈服於主流價值觀，而是自然地捕捉人物的互動。在 1970 至 80 年代喧囂且躁動的社會氛圍中，Goldin 挑戰了關於種族、性別及邊緣群體的認知，在色彩鮮明的影像敘事中，生活的狂喜與痛楚、放蕩及掙扎一一展陳。
