Joel Meyerowitz
美國攝影師 Joel Meyerowitz 生於1938年3月6日，以街頭攝影聞名，他同時也善於捕捉肖像與地景。
1962 年因與攝影師 Robert Frank 於工作上合作而受其啟發，毅然決然辭去廣告公司的藝術指導一職，帶著 35mm 相機和黑白底片步入紐約市街頭，成為一位街頭攝影師。那正是 Garry Winogrand、Tony Ray-Jones、Lee Friedlander 與 Diane Arbus 的活躍年代。同年的不久之後 Joel Meyerowitz 改以彩色攝影紀錄街頭，成為早期黑白底片仍被視之為正規攝影的年代，在多重環境抵制下率先提倡使用色彩的先驅者。
1970 年代初期，他開始於柯柏聯盟學院教導攝影，之後更於許多機構做攝影教學，成為知名的攝影導師。期間開始轉為使用大畫幅相機拍攝，1979 年出版彩色攝影的經典作品《Cape Light》。
