During a brief stay in Paris to present the group exhibition of “Chihei 12” together with other members of the magazine, Japanese photographer Shogo Yamada captured the French capital in photographs. Sticking to high-contrast, up-close street photographs, Yamada’s experience of Paris through the camera lens resulted in an energetic, poetical book inspired by the city’s special charm as it floats within the darkness.
