This is the nineteenth issue of the Osaka-based street photography magazine “Vacuum,” featuring photographs from nine different series by the following photographers: Mei Hirano ("Mikata of Humans 13"), Shunji Dodo ("1996–1999 Osaka"), Shogo Yamada ("Plane of Existence"), Takuya Suzuki ("SGN – Han Part 3"), Yuka Matsushita ("Stroll 5"), Kotone Taniguchi ("Tourist"), Jun Abe ("2018 (1)"), Ryosuke Koshino ("Mumbaikars, Overdrive"), and Ryohji Tsuchiya ("Roadside Eyes").
As in previous issues, each photographer is free to pursue their own themes and decide on the layout of their photographs. As a result, Vacuum continues to present a diverse and energetic mix of unadulterated street photography from Japan.
