Only left with the protagonist waiting, endlessly, in the middle of nowhere and somewhere. Chihoi’s dreamy narration and tour-de-force pencilscape, take inspirations from the award-winning short story Carousel by Taiwanese writer / poet Hung Hung. The text and the comic adaptation are compiled together in this book in opposite directions.
The book was first published in 2007 in Taiwan, and has been translated in English, French, Italian and Finnish. nos:books is honored to publish the new Chinese re-edition.
