In September 2025, a participatory workshop was held at Long Story Short gallery in New York, where visitors could photocopy prints, bind them on-site, and create their own photobooks.
The project reimagined Moriyama’s “Printing Show” of 1974—a legendary event in which he photocopied prints taken during his 1971 stay in New York, bound them on the spot, and sold the photobook Another Country in New York immediately after production.
Out of the 100 photobooks produced during this new workshop, a limited edition of 50 copies (Ed. 51–100) has been published by Akio Nagasawa Publishing.
While the images included are the same across all copies, as suggested by the title “mazemaze” (meaning “mixed”), the page order varies from book to book.
